Eligible students undertaking a traineeship in the qualification ICT30519 Certificate III in Telecommunications Technology are funded under the Apprenticeship and Traineeship Training fund with Job and Skills WA.

In 2022 the Certificate III in Telecommunications Technology was also added to the list of courses included in the Lower Fees Local Skills program. This program reduces the training fees in eligible courses by 50% and fees are capped at $400 for concession students and $1200 for non-concession students per year.
